Skull Love

I love a fun graphic print tee, or in this case, this dope skull bone racer back tank from Alainn Bella .  It's such an easy piece to throw on and go.  I decided to add this sheer button down to add some layers, since we're still experiencing some "chilly" weather.  Alainn Bella just stocked some really cute pieces for spring and summer!  I'm really lovin' the Shark Mouth tank, Maggie Aztec dress, and the Neon plaid skirt.  Hop on over to their site to check out all the fun new arrivals!  Get shopping! Enter promo code "ELISHARON" at check to save 15% off your entire purchase.  Again, you can thank me later... preferably with macarons! ;)

Rose Garden

Springtime is just around the corner and what better way to greet her than with this beautiful WonderlandHonolulu rose garden kimono.  Isn't it so beautiful?  Not only is the print so freaking fantastic, but this kimono is super versatile.  You can throw it over anything and it makes your outfit a million times better.  I can't wait to wear the heck out of this!  If you're on Oahu check out Homecoming to stock up on some WonderlandHonolulu steeze.  Or if you're far far away and have no access to the baddest shop in China town, following Homecoming on Instagram and they're gladly help you with a phone order. You can thank me later. :)

Checkmate

After years of long locks, I finally decided to take the plunge and chop it all off.  Alright, not all of it, but I did manage to say farewell to 12" of  hair, with the exception of my bangs.  I'll never tire of my full fringe, it's my signature look. I feel fresh, renewed, and updated.

See this dress here?  I made it months ago, and it was inspired by the Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 RTW collection. It's a great little number that can be dressed up or down.  I prefer pairing it with sneaks for a more sporty feel. And don't you just love the seamless pocket?  I'm in love. One thing I would change though, would be the fabric choice; poly satin does not mix well with tropical weather.  Sigh.

All Day I Dream About...

Hey guys!  Sorry for the lack of updates this week.  School, work, and some side projects have definitely kept me busy.  I'm so thankful for weekends.  On weekends, I ditch the heels and make sure I have some cool and comfy kicks to cruise around town in.  New in, these Adidas Superstar sneaks.  They were out in women's sizes, so I picked these up in the kid's section.  Same shoe and half the prize, definite win on my end.  Hope you're all having a great weekend!

A "DUH" Moment

I have a funny story to share with you.  A few years ago, we were watching the Super Bowl at my in-laws.  I was excited to watch the Super Bowl, even though I'm not very football savvy.  In all honesty, I was more interested in the halftime show and the new commercials... oh and getting my grub+drink-on, of course.  I'm not sure what quarter it was or what down, but I noticed that they "marked" the field with a bright yellow line to indicate the down.  Then, I saw that the bright yellow line MOVED!  I was in awe at how fast "they" were able to move the line.  I asked my sister-in-law how they did it so quickly.  She turned to me with a "WTF, are you kidding me?" look and asked if I was serious.  Clearly, I was.  Apparently, that bright yellow line wasn't really being marked on the field.  I'm sure a part of me knew that, and perhaps I was experiencing a "DUH" moment, but boy, did I feel like an idiot. Ha!  To this day, I still laugh about it. :)

Are you watching the Super Bowl today?  If so, who are you rooting for?

Weekend Uniform

This outfit was pretty much what I wore all weekend long.  The over-sized sweater and faux leather jogger shorts fit the bill for the chilly and rainy weather we've been experiencing.  Sure, I'm wearing shorts, but these kept my bootay warm and toasty.  I'm not going to lie, these shoes aren't very rainy-weather-friendly, but they are my current faves and the newest addition to my JC family.  The cut-outs make them oh-so-perfect to wear year round. The heel height, or lack there of, allow for hours of gallivanting around the town, without sore little piggies at the end of the day.  What did you do this weekend?

No Rest for The Rad

While lurking around Instagram (yeah, you know you do it too), I discovered this rad online shop called, Top Knot Goods.  This tee is probably one of the raddest tees I own.  Literally.  It is soooo good, I order two; one for me and one for the Pirate.  You know what they say about couples who dress alike!?!

What awesome online shops have you came across lately?  I'd love to know.  I'm limited with where I can shop out here in the middle of the Pacific, so your suggestions are welcomed and highly anticipated! :)  Hope you guys are enjoying the long weekend!

Pumps and cut-offs

For the past couple of months, I've been drawn to more sleek shoe silhouettes.  I've also added quite a few pairs of pumps to my shoedrobe.  I love the look of a pointy toe heel.  It elongates my vertically challenged frame.  I also think a great heel makes any look, even cut-offs, have a more polished feel.  Don't get me wrong, I'm still a Lita girl at heart. :)

Olive + Piper sent me this pretty lioness bangle.  I love the fiery red color and it's so perfectly me.  I'm a Leo, if you didn't know.  :)  Check out Olive + Piper for other amazing baubles.  And I also received this sweet delicately hand stamped necklace from  Amy of Junghwa by Amy Stewart.  She handcrafts these necklaces (and other pretties!) herself.

Enjoy soaking up the rest of the weekend!

WhiteOut

I'm sure you've seen this skort all over the blogosphere.  I remember getting it months ago (before the black, red, and blue versions came out) and while I love the idea of a skort, the thought of actually wearing a white one, freaked me out.  I'm that girl who spills everything on herself.  Everything.  I let the skort hibernate in the back of my closet for some time, but after seeing it for the millionth time, and on one of my favorite bloggy friends, I knew I had to muster up the courage and finally wear this beaut out.  I can't take credit for this pairing, though.  I owe it all to Tiff (check her version out here).  And of course what better way complete the look with more white!!  White bag, check.  White shoes, check.

Oh, and I didn't forget... I'll be announcing the winner to my YuniKelley Designs giveaway soon.  Thanks to everyone who entered! :)

Messy hair, don't care.

The heat has been out of control lately, but thankfully today there was a breeze.  I tried to take advantage of the wind and whip my hair back and forth, but that was a total fail.  As much as I want to be that girl with the "just-got-out-of-bed-and-had-no-time-to-do-my-hair-but-that's-ok-because-my-hair-still-looks-amaze", I'm not. My hair style needs a good blow dry and a swipe of the flat iron.

A definite must for my summer arsenal is this number I scooped up from Homecoming.  I love it so much, because it's light and easy to wear.  At first glance it looks like a dress, but it totally psychs you out and is a super rad R O M P E R! with pockets, too.  ::dies::  Lately, I've been into super minimalist jewelry.  The designer and creator of forternal, Jade, sent me a couple of her beautiful heart rings.  They are so amazing and I wear at least one of them every single day.  You gotta get one of your very own!  Trust me, you're gonna love it. :)

Tripping on Acid

Ever since acquiring these black acid wash jeans, I've been wearing them non-stop.  Yeah, I even wore them three days in a row.  Don't judge. :) I've worn them with just about every top imaginable, but my fave would have to be an over sized top.  This asymmetrical draped top added much needed softness to the toughness of the jeans, an what better way to accessorize than with a wrist full of bling!?!

The lovely Julie, owner and designer of YuniKelley Designs sent over this gorgeous gold crystal pave link bracelet.  Isn't it amazing?  Since it's already such an incredibly shiny piece, I thought, why not more shine?  Enter, more bling!  Yup, you know, I love the "more is more" style philosophy.  If you want to get your own bracelet, visit Julie's shop and don't forget to enter elisharon at check out to save 20% off your purchase.  Thanks Julie for giving me such a rad bracelet to add to my jewelry arsenal.  :)

Ooo! And don't you just love these heels?  It's one of the four the Pirate gave to me for our 4th year anniversary.  Seriously, he spoils me.  I'm a lucky gal, indeedy.

Spring Fling

Spring is in the air.... well, sorta.  The weather in paradise has been a bit drab lately.  The sunny skies have gone into hibernation and the past week has been filled with gray skies and sprinkles.  I couldn't ask for a better reason to bring out my Matisse Floral Blazer that Sugarlips Apparel sent over.  I really love this blazer.  The pastel hue with pops of neon colors and the drape collar is amazing.  Definitely, the perfect way to greet the Spring season.  I continued the drape effect by layering the blazer over this creamy little number.  I finished the look by throwing on my new Lita doppelgangers courtesy of My Hot Shoes.  If you're looking for an inexpensive look-a-like of the shoe everyone loves to hate (except, I actually LOVE them), then these babies are your answer.

I'm really excited to wear tons of bright colors and floral prints this season.  I'm still working on trying to compile some pieces that will help me achieve an all white (or cream) look. Although, I'm a fan of colors, I've been obsessing over and all white look.  This is the closest I've come, so far.  What are you excited for this Spring?
