Messy hair, don't care.

The heat has been out of control lately, but thankfully today there was a breeze.  I tried to take advantage of the wind and whip my hair back and forth, but that was a total fail.  As much as I want to be that girl with the "just-got-out-of-bed-and-had-no-time-to-do-my-hair-but-that's-ok-because-my-hair-still-looks-amaze", I'm not. My hair style needs a good blow dry and a swipe of the flat iron.

A definite must for my summer arsenal is this number I scooped up from Homecoming.  I love it so much, because it's light and easy to wear.  At first glance it looks like a dress, but it totally psychs you out and is a super rad R O M P E R! with pockets, too.  ::dies::  Lately, I've been into super minimalist jewelry.  The designer and creator of forternal, Jade, sent me a couple of her beautiful heart rings.  They are so amazing and I wear at least one of them every single day.  You gotta get one of your very own!  Trust me, you're gonna love it. :)

Wonderland Honolulu

When I visited Oahu a couple of weeks ago, I had to make sure to stop into one of my favorite shops, Homecoming.  Shop owner, Emilie is definitely a woman who's got mad style and her shop is proof of it.  I love that she's willing to push the boundaries of fashion and bring something fresh to Hawaii.  Seriously, if you are ever on Oahu, this shop is a definite must-do.  She stocks tons of amazing brands, like Mink Pink, Chaser, Unif, and hello, my fave, Jeffrey Campbell! and even local designers, like Wonderland Honolulu.  The woman behind Wonderland Honolulu, Jess, creates incredibly amazing pieces, that go hand-in-hand with the island life, without sacrificing style.  Known for her body hugging knit tops and dresses (in freakin' rad prints!), she also creates flowy chiffon pieces that are ever so perfect for frolicking under the Hawaiian sun.  Ever since receiving this tribal print kimono cardi (thanks Jess and Emilie!), I have not taken it off.  It's just so easy to wear and can liven up any ol' outfit.  It'll surely be one of my go-to's for my summer wardrobe.

Saturday Steez

Although the weather forecast said it was only 82 degrees today, it felt like it was a scorching 90! Summer is fast approaching and you can sure bet I'll be living in tanks, tees, shorts, and summer dresses.  This tank that the Pirate got me from Bamboo Sky, is pretty much one of the comfiest I own. The tropical print is pretty rad and whimsical, without being touristy. And because I just can't seem to let go of these jeans, I feel like I want to use them as much as possible before the summer heat forces them into hibernation.  My new jellies will probably be one of summer go-to's as well.  They are total twinsies with these Stuart Weitzman jellies, but without the designer price tag.  What will be your summer go-to's?
