I Love Olive

I surely do love Olive.  The color, the food, and even the name.  Wouldn't it be cute to name your little darling, Olive? :)

Megan over at Alainn Bella sent me this charming little number.  I love the fit, feel, flow, and print of this dress.  And it's lined too!  A+, in my book. :)  Personally, I don't wear pieces with cap sleeves, because they make my "shapely" arms look even bigger than they already are, but I think the cap on this dress, fits me quite nicely.  Cap sleeves definitely make dresses feel more feminine and delicate.  Because of the delicate vibe of the dress, I couldn't resist edging it up a bit.  I layered on my trusty safari/utilitarian-esque vest, studded belt, and JC Tardy's.  I really love this styling!  It's so ME!  However, I was going to be out and about running errands yesterday and wanted to make sure I could get them done in a jiffy, so I switched over to a pair of patent leather olive colored ballet flats and a playful belt.  A total 180 from the first look, but equally as amazing! :)  And don't you love the monochromatic palettes of both looks as well?  I surely do.  The "I Love Olive" dress is fully stock (in all sizes) at Alainn Bella.  Hop on over and get one for yourself and maybe even a friend.  Trust me, you'll love it!  Fits true to size too!  Don't forget to enter "Elisharon" at check out for your discount.

I finally picked a winner for the Alainn Bella ankle jeans.  The lucky lady is, Annette of the VersaStyle!  Congrats girl.  Can't wait to see you style these babies up.  Thanks to everyone that entered and thanks Megan for this giveaway! Muah.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, loves!

Hey fellow olive girl!! It's one of my favorite clothing colors as well :) I like that it's kind of 'dirty' and works so well with that olive tint I have in my skin!

What a pretty dress, but what I love is that belt!

The first look is edgy and cool and the second is feminine and chic, a definite 180 from the first but just as good. I am not a fan of a capped sleeve either but it does not make your arms look big at all.
Cheers,
Bre

Wow, that dress is so pretty on you. It's definitely a versatile piece. I would love to own it and pair it with black opaque tights and booties... and maybe layer a fur vest over it!!! Ooooooo I really need to consider getting this dress for myself.

I have a secret obsession with olives. That's probably why sometimes, I look like one. ;) That dress is so versatile. I love seeing how an outfit can be styled differently. I expected to like the first look the most, saw it, thought it was cute, but then LOVED the way you styled it the second time. Great job.
