Loving you is RED

My friend, C, recently surprised me with Taylor Swift's new album, RED.  Yes, my secret is out, I heart Taylor Swift.  I've been listening to it non-stop since getting it and I love it.  The irony though, is that I can't personally relate to the album.  Sure, I've experienced heart break when I was younger, but I was also lucky enough to find the love of my life at a very young age.  It's a rare thing, and not a day goes by that I don't thank the stars above for having the Pirate in my life. :)  If you're a Taylor fan, pick up her album, and if you're not a fan, pick up anyway!!

I was feeling kind of lazy today when I threw this outfit together,  I've had this maxi skirt for almost 3 years and it's definitely my go to piece when I need something quick and easy to wear.  I kept the look simple with this double layered keyhole blouse and black flatforms.  Yup, flatforms.  Ha!

Collar Love

I'm a smitten kitten when it comes to peter pan collars. There's truly something magical and whimsical about them.  It's playfulness certainly brings out the kid in me.  When I discovered the jewelry line, LAB by Laura Busony, I was immediately enamored with her designs.  I was a kid in a candy shop.  Her creatively talented mind and skillful hands craft such amazing metal collar necklaces.  And I also love that she sources vintage finds in some of her designs.
