Cardigans & Boyfriends

Strolling down by the harbor with the Pirate, while watching the sun go down, was the perfect way to spend my Tuesday afternoon.  It was surprisingly cool enough to wear my new jacquard-knit cardigan.  And yes, a pair of jeans, too.  I love how comfy these pair are.  Boyfriend jeans are the best.  Clearly, I am anxiously awaiting fall's arrival.  Summer, I love you, but I'm ready for some cooler weather.

Feline fine

My style is always changing and evolving, but one thing that remains constant is my love for all thing quirky.  I'm a sucker for cutesy prints, but try to make them "age appropriate".  Ha!  When I saw this dress on hm.com, I immediately fell in love.  I love layering a chambray shirt in lieu of an actual jacket, since fall in Hawaii is still pretty warm.  With a pair of ankle booties and minimal accessories, this look is purr-fect for a pre-fall lunch/dinner & movie date.  Shop all these looks on H&M's website!  And there's is still a few more days to enter H&M's Instagram Contest!  Hash tag your looks #hmshoponlinehi (or change the last two letters to the state your reppin'.).  Hurry go enter!!

FALLin' for H&M

With fall just around the corner, I hoping to integrate a few cool-weather pieces soon.  I'm not sure about you, but I normally plan outfits around the pair of shoes I want to wear that day.  What can I say, I'm a shoe girl at heart. :)  When I spotted these heels on the H&M website, I instantly fell in love.  I have nothing like it in my shoedrobe and the heel height is child's play, which means, I could probably run a marathon in them.  Ok, well, not really, but with the chunky and lower than I'm used to heel height, I could surely last all day in them, without having to give in and switch into a pair of flats.  I put together a little look that I'm craving to wear when Fall arrives.  Oh! 50 States of Fashion: H&M goes ONLINE!

It's time to celebrate!  H&M has finally launched it's online website for the US.  This is HUGE... especially for Hawaii!  Our little state out here in the middle of the Pacific has yet to have an H&M location.  So, while we count the days until that happens (which will most likely be in January, in Waikiki on Oahu! Yippee), we now have access to all the latest goodies that H&M stocks.  I'm also super honored to announce that H&M choose me at Hawaii's sole fashion ambassador for their 50 States of Fashion campaign.  WOW!  I'm was pretty shocked and thrilled for such an amazing opportunity to represent Hawaii.

Here are some fabulous pieces H&M sent over. I love this dress.  It's lightweight, airy, and the perfect piece to help beat the hot Hawaiian heat!  Paired with streamlined heels and gold jewelry, I'm ready for a casual night out with the hubbs.  And of course, to make it a little more "me", I added a little quirk to the look with this fun pineapple purse!  AMAZE, right?
