Floral Peplum

Remember the J. Crew floral peplum blouse I was crushing on?  Well, I made my very own.  It's a tad loose, but a girl's gotta breathe, right?  All jokes aside, I'm pretty pleased with the outcome.  I have some left over fabric and was thinking I could make matching shorts!  Would that be too much?

Another shoe style I've been searching for was something in the metallic family.  The nice people over at Go Jane sent over these sweet silver metallic heels.  I love the sleek design!  And the platform and ankle strap are great details as well.  The heel is on the thicker side, so I won't have to worry about loosing my balance while teetering on these 5 1/2" babies.  These heels even come in a rose gold version.  Check it out here.

Here's hoping to a great Monday to you all. :)

*gasp* please pardon my horrid looking feet. i need a pedicure stat!
{peplum top: DIY by me | jeans: BDG (buy) | heels: c/o Go Jane (buy)
bag: Tahari | sunnies: Rayban | cuffs: Ross | necklace: F21}

I must say, you did an excellent job on your peplum top! I do not think that making matching shorts would be too much. In fact, I think it would look absolutely amazing on you! If anything, you can even try to make a skirt!

Hi Sharon! Did you really made that top! Wow it looks great! Too talented you are my blogger friend! :) And I say make the shorts, heck, wear it all together! Who cares, it's your blog and you can wear print head to toe if you want to! Haha...And you are too funny with the comment you left on my blog about your toes. Hmmm, other than a little paint touch up, you have pretty feet I must say and they look fab in those silver platform sandals. I'd checked out the gold version and even though I'm a golden gal, I love the silver heels on you. Keep up all the fab post and love your humor! xo
