Pretty Peplum

I've been drooling over this peplum top from J.Crew since it debuted on the site.  It's so pretty, but its hefty $350 price tag isn't. :(  It's now on sale for $119, but I'm still reluctant to actually purchase it.  I did find some floral fabric and since I've have some free time right now, I'll probably just make something similar to it.  The blue and green hues of the J.Crew peplum top did inspire the following look.

Hope you all have a Happy Hump Day! :)

{peplum top: Made by Me | jeans: Zara | bag: Kenneth Cole NY | ballet flats: Lanvin (buy)
sunnies: Rayban | watch: Michael Kors | necklace: J.Crew (buy)}

Love, S

Oh, J. Crew - they kill me. I always fall head over heels for the most expensive things they sell. That peplum top is gorgeous... But the one you're wearing in this post (that you amde yourself, amazing!) is also stunning. I just love the colour, especially again your green skinnies :) Beautiful look! And I just have to tell you, I love the quote on your header; so true.

Hello lovely! Just wanted to say that I absolutely love this outfit - the jewel toned colour blocking is beautiful and the black & leopard accessorizing couldn't be more ideal! Your hair is looking so pretty and I am once again envious of your amazing sewing skills!

Hope you're having a great week!

Oh Sharon, I absolutely love your top! I love peplums and now that I finished sewing my ensemble for my school's fashion show, I think I'll make stuff for myself, too!

I was deciding between a DSLR or the S95 when I realized that the S95 is so "bag" friendly. It's so compact that no matter what bag I choose to bring with me, it'll always fit! Plus according to a few professional photographer friends of mine, they say that the S95 is just as good as a DSLR! Definitely check it out! :)
