Shiny things

This dress has gotten a lot of wear this past month.  Three times to be exact (first time to my company holiday gala. In a dressier styling, of course)  Because of it's flashiness, one would save it for night time festivities, but I wanted to make it more "day-time appropriate".  Enter the camel sweater and leopard loafers. :)  I wore this combo on the last day of classes (and then again, this past week to a friend's holiday party).  What better way to end the semester than looking like a shiny disco ball!?  Perhaps this outfit may seem out of control, but I feel it's an unlikely pairing that works, at least in my book. :)

I picked a winner of the Shabby Apple Giveaway and the winner is, Amanda.  Congrats chica!  Thanks to everyone that entered and big thanks to Shabby Apple!

{dress worn as skirt: INStudio | sweater/necklace/clutch: F21 | shoes: Bamboo | watch: Michael Kors | ring: Wendy Mink Jewelry}

Love, S

I adore everything about this outfit. I wish I could be as bold as you to pull off such a look. Maybe I should try this for the new year. :)

Wearing the dress as a skirt is a great way to get more mileage out of sequins! Love how glitzy you look, but not over the top.
