$40.86

Hello there.  I'm alive, just in case you were wondering. :) With work, side projects, and the school semester winding down, I've had a busy week.

The Pirate and I had a craving for bagels last night, so we headed to the market.  The market is the worse place to be when you're hungry.  I resisted buying everything in sight, but a few things (other than bagels) managed to jump into my basket.  I found a bag of cinnamon and white-choco drizzled kettle corn.  SO FREAKIN DELICIOUS.  I almost ate the whole bag last night.  Yikes!

Hope your week is off to a great start.  I'll try to blog more this week.  Crossing fingers and toes. :)

{sweater tunic: Free People | jacket: Calvin Klein | leggings: INC | flats: Payless | bag: Tahari}

This is how the Pirate "cooks".  He's a whiz at the toaster. ;) tee hee.  Toaster everything bagel, topped with whipped cream cheese, sprouts, Roma tomatoes, capers, and black pepper.

And this is what $40.86 will buy you at the market in Hawaii.  The price we pay to live in Paradise, huh?  A lot of tourist are shocked when they see that they have to pay $7 for a gallon of milk or $5 for a loaf of bread!

Love, S

Ooh, I loves an everything bagel with cream cheese, sliced tomatoes and black pepper. I also tried it toasted with butter in place of the cream cheese and went into so-fat overload heaven ...

If it is $7 for a gallon of milk in Hawaii, what must things cost in Alaska!

wow, 7 bucks for milk?! after spending that much, you must enter my contest to win a poshlocket bracelet to make up for that! ;) looking cute as always and those bagels look yumm!

miss you Sharon! Glad to hear you are busy though, always a good thing :) My husband had a little incident with our toaster oven - it caught on fire! so for now we are without a toaster. but if we had one, I'd totally make a toasted bagel right now. haha!

i know, right?? i spent about the same yesterday for a few things! i love fage greek yogurt, but can't seem to find it anywhere these days...so got chobani as well.

ON is totally on these days. seems everything i'm loving right now is from there. the skirt seems to be true to size if not just a hair big. comes in gray, too!

Cute dress!

I find it very expensive. I'm always whining of the prices here but if I look at that and then the picture (and I do the change to euros), I can't really complain.
