YOU'RE SO BEEFY

Thank you lovelies for all the anniversary wishes.  The Pirate and I truly appreciate all your kind words.

We continued our celebration with a delectable dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House.  I'm not a huge fan of steak (or beef), but I've always wanted to eat at this restaurant.  I'm so glad we went.  The steak (I had a 16oz rib eye, like Whoa!) was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!  Every bite was mouthwatering.  I could only eat half, but the left overs were even fabulous the next day.  The prices are a bit steep, but totally worth it.

After enjoying this meal, I thought back to the time when I used to looove beef!  Then in 2001, I swore off beef for nearly two years.  It was for personal reasons, but at that time I felt like I was at my healthiest (inside and out).  I guess the 4 - 5 days a week visits to the gym contributed to that as well.  Beef slowly trickled back into my life and I have stints where I refuse to eat it, but after eating at Ruth's Chris, I might have to have a good piece of steak every now and then.  Moderation is key, right?  Oh and if you're wondering what the Pirate got, he got chicken.  He always gets chicken.  :D

Are you a beef eater?  If so, what's your favorite cut? Preparation?

Love, S
