CREATURE OF HABIT

First off, I'd like to thank everyone for their positive thoughts and prayers.  Our island suffered some damage, but nothing compared to what has happened to Japan.  Everyone is still in my thoughts and prayers.

Do you have certain pieces in your wardrobe that you like to style a certain way, and only that way?  Normally when I buy a new item, I like to come up with outfits in my head before making the purchase.  If I can't wear it more than 3 ways, I usually put it back (unless it's something super inexpensive).  I think clothing needs versatility, especially if you're going to pay a pretty penny for it. Don't you? Well, I think this outfit is quite similar to this one I wore back in January.  What can I say, I'm a creature of habit, except I think I like today's look a little more than the last.  I've also been drooling over this Chanel clutch from the Chanel~Shanghai collection, but since it's financial out of reach, my new necklace will have to do for now.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  I've gathered more fabrics for the upcoming fashion show, but have yet to design or create a single pattern!  I need a fire lit under my derriere fast!  Wish me luck.  It's crunch time.

That is such a good idea - I always buy things just because I like them then have no idea what to do with them when I get home!! Love your boots :) xxx

So glad to hear you are okay, m'dear - scary stuff! Also, I think that's such a great way to shop, I've never considered how many different ways I can wear something before buying it, but it makes SO much sense because I often walk away with pretty little dresses that aren't very versatile! So this is a good mindset for me to adapt! Loving your booties, too cute!

You look great! I have similar pants and I'd never think to wear them with high heeled booties like this. I love it! Thanks for the inspiration! :)

Glad to hear your neck of the woods wasn't hit too severely by disaster. At least that's something, right?

Whoa - when'd you get those lil' booties?! I like.

I'm glad you're okay.

And yes, I do the same with my clothes but I try REALLY hard to style them differently to stretch my wardrobe. I try to think of three outfits as well! :P
