Thank goodness for stretchy pants

This year, Thanksgiving didn't feel like Thanksgiving.  I had to work.  Then again, I always work on Thanksgiving.  Hubby brought me some Thanksgiving grub for lunch and I stuffed my face like a little piggy.  I'm sorta sick of food right now.  And if you didn't know this already, I'm not a fan of Mr. Gobble.  I prefer the salty yummy goodness that is Mr. Hammy. mmmmmm!!

I wore this to the movies tonight.  We went to see Harry Potter and it was fantastic.  I got these pants last month and I was a bit hesitant about purchasing them because of the HUGE drop crotch, but I'm so thankful for them.  They are the perfect pair of pants to wear after getting your Thanksgiving grub on.  I love how they drape, that it's 100% silk, and the elastic waistband is another added bonus.  I'm also still very thankful for all the things that I was thankful for last year.  Plus, Cheryl Maeda!  She's so talented and has helped me improve my sewing skillz!! :D

So, I'm curious to know, was anyone brave enough to tackle Black Friday?!  Find any good deals?

You look adorable, and might I add skinny in that outfit! I've never tried on a pair of pants like that but they are so cute and so flattering, I might have to give them a shot now. I'm so impressed with how cute & stylish you always are. :) Happy post-Thanksgiving! (p.s. I stuffed myself like a little piggy too).

I didn't tackle Black Friday with the exception of sweeping through and grabbing a few deals after work, but I LOVED working it. Time flew by so quickly!

Isn't it no fun working on the holidays? I had to work the first Christmas that the hubs and I were married and it didn't feel like Christmas as all. Sort of a bummer.

I'm not a huge fan of drop-crotch pants, but the silk + drape makes it hard for ANYONE not to want them. They look great on you - along with the paired striped sweater and wedges! I'm a huge fan of brown haha :D

Yuck, I'd feel grumpy if I was working on a holiday too. However, you looked so stylish!

And re: Black Friday shopping. This is the first in probably 5-6 years I didn't venture out, and I'm not totally disappointed.
