The 189th day of the year

I was actually going to post my first video blog, but it turned out awkward.  Maybe next time.

The cheesey photo of me standing under the IHOP sign was taken this past Monday after we took my Sister to the airport.  She went back home and I miss her so much.  It was great having her visit.  It's funny, because we're only a 30 minute flight away from each other, yet don't visit as often as we should or would like to.  I miss you Sister and I'll see you soon!!
Random tidbit: I NEVER call my Sister by her first name.  Since I can remember, I've always called her "Sister".  She also only calls me Sister too.

After we dropped Sister off, I had a craving for some pancakes, so we hopped on over to IHOP to satisfy the craving. nom. nom. nom.

I want to thank everyone who participated in the House of PlumRed "Cake Dress" giveaway.  I loved reading everyone's picks!  And a big congrats to the lucky winner..... Mara from M Loves M.  Hip hip Hooray!  Also, BIG thanks to House of PlumRed for teaming up with me and hosting this awesome giveaway.

I have another great giveaway coming up, so definitely check back.

Love, S

This is cute! And I understand what you mean about your sister because that's how me and my husband are. When we were dating we simply called each other "babe" now we've expanded to the point that I call him husband and he calls me wife. On the very rare occasion he says my first name it sounds so foreign coming out of his mouth. Like a stranger.

Love your top with the pop of lace underneath. So sexy but tasteful. Edgy but feminine.
Have a great weekend!
