Mele Kalikimaka!

I had a great Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve with my parents and grandma, ate a yummy dinner, hung out, and exchanged gifts.. then on Christmas day Eli and I enjoyed Champy for breakfast :) and a yummy lunch at Lulu's; Truffle Mac & Cheese, Furikake Fries, and more yummy cocktails.

What our tree looked like on Christmas Eve and a quick drawing of our outfits on Christmas day. :)
(I ended up knotting my top up later that day, to show the tulle dress a little more)
At my parents house, Christmas day, before we went to lunch...
Wearing: striped/tulle dress - F21, top - F21, heels - Quipid (gift from hubby)
Hubby wearing: Lady Gaga tee, jeans - Levi's, sneaks - converse, scarf - DIY by me
Mmmmm the yummy Mac & Cheese + Furikake fries with aioli dipping sauce!! Delish. :)
We spent Christmas evening with Eli's parents home with the sis and bro.  They prepared a yummy prime rib and crab leg dinner. It was also the first time we all tried the green bean casserole thingy that people normally make during the holidays. I was really excited to try that, but eh, it was alright. And the night wouldn't be complete without momma Cindy's pumpkin roll! After chillin' with the family we went back to our place and hung out with some friends that were visiting from Vegas and Pheonix. I love the holidays... you get to meet up with friends you haven't seen for a while. :)

I painted these for Cielle and Leah. :)
Last night we went to hang out with Carina.  It was her last night in town. We chilled and ate yummy bbq. She went home to Vegas today. Boo!! I miss her already. :(
Wearing: floral dress + belt - ???, velvet blazer - thrifted, tights - Walmart, Potion buckle boots - Jeffrey Campbell,
suede bag - Tahari (Chrstimas gift from hubby), cupcake ring - BJ
Hubby wearing: white v-neck - Calvin Klein, striped cardi - Buffalo, jeans - Bull Head, dog tag necklace - Tiffanys
I love friends!! Eli, Me, Carina, + Justin.
The Clemons :)
Oh and this is what I purchased with the shopbop gift card that I won from Issa at wewearthings. I've been wanting the Jeffrey Campbell "Potion" boots for a while and now I finally have them. Yay! Thanks Issa.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas... New Year's is just around the corner.

Love, S

You always look insanely happy! Here's wishing you a great New Year. :-)

P.S. Would you mind terribly if I ask you to add me to your blogroll? No worries, of course, if you don't...I just thought it might not hurt to ask.

Hi there! thanks for coming by my blog :) Looks like you had a wonderful holiday with friends and family. Those Jeffrey Campbell Potions are amazing, super light and comfortable, and I love the way you paired them with sheer black tights! I should do that with mine so I can still wear them even when it's freezing cold here in Vancouver. Gorgeous dress and I love how you paired it with a velvet blazer. The dress looks like something I've seen at F21 actually.

Awe looks like you guys had a great Christmas. I miss Christmas in Hawaii....did I tell you that my husband grew up on Oahu? My brother in law still lives there, but the rest have moved to the mainland. Hope you guys are gearing up for a great New Year's Eve! BTW - Great call on those booties. Sooo adorable.

So cute, such a cute Christmas! Mine was so low key, I love seeing what people do.

PS I love the green bean thing, its my favorite thing about the holidays. Except I need to go on a 2 week fast, all I've done is eat!

The food that you talked about is literally making my stomach growl. I'm hungry, and it sounds delish.

Thanks for your comment. I feel bad that I complained about my "pooch" but I took that picture the previous day, before the horomones really started kicking in.

Also, your blazer looks great.
