Spread too thin

Do you ever wish there were more hours in the day?  Or you could say "no" when asked to do something you know you don't have the time for.  Magic genie where are you?  I need to use up one of my wishes.  Wait. Make that two.  I have so much to get done by tomorrow, and instead of piling on the stress, I decided to take a much needed break.

For a girl who lives in Hawaii, I own way too many "cold weather" pieces... but I don't care!  I love sweaters, coats, and especially furs! Faux fur of course.  I got this one from UO last month.  It was originally $150, but scored it on super sale for only $16.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  We're supposed to be getting heavy rain this weekend... perfect cuddle weather.  Ok, break over, back to work.

The rain poured down when we touched lips

Can you believe Christmas is only three days away!?!  Hopefully I can get my Christmas shopping done by then.  I feel like I haven't been bitten by the Christmas bug yet.  And I'm also feel scrooge-like... bah humbug! Just kidding.  I have to be honest though, it doesn't feel the same this year. I've lost it!  I've lost the Christmas spirit.  If anyone finds it, please send it my way. :)

The hubby snapped these shots while we were waiting for the rain to pass.  It's been rainy here in the islands AND I love it!  I didn't expect it today though and therefore wasn't dressed to battle the downpour.  I couldn't wait any longer, so I made an impromptu poncho out of some plastic shopping bags and made a dash to the car.  Did I make it there safely?  Sure did.  But my skirt and sandals suffered battle wounds.  They were soaked!!! Grrrr. 

On a lighter note, I'm totally loving my new bangles (in chocolate and gold) courtesy of Wendy Mink Jewelry.  They are the perfect accessory and go with just about any outfit!  Thank you WMJ team! <3
