You're never fully dressed without a SMILE

I often get comments and emails about my smile and how in basically every single photo, I'm smiling.  If you know me, my optimism and sunny disposition are what fuels the smile (plus the giggles, laughs, and random inappropriateness :))  I can't help but smile.  They say that you're never fully dressed without smile, and I couldn't agree more.  While I'm typically your happy-go-lucky person, another reason why I smile in photos, is because my non-smiling face is totally unappealing.  My non-smiling face can be mistaken as signs of bitchiness, sadness, constipation, or even worry.  Who wants to look constipated and worried? Not, I!  Don't get me wrong, a part of me envies the cool kids that can pull off look-at-me-I-look-great-even-without-a-smile photo, but it just doesn't work for on me.  I've even mastered what I like to call the "10 tooth smile".  I make it a point to make sure that when I do smile, my top 10 teeth are visible.  C'mon now, your smile increases your face value. :)

Say, fromage!

Also wanted to share with you guys the first draped piece that I completed a couple weeks ago.  Draping has been super fun and can't wait to try out more challenging designs.

And here's the proof that I look better when I smile. :)

Have a great weekend, guys!!

Love, S

Hey girlie! Everyone should smile more, especially in pictures. There's no shame in that! I love the dress you've draped. Draping is fun!

You're very funny too. I think you make a lot of people smile and laugh.. I know I did when I read your post. Have a great weekend.

Hi Sharon! I smile all the time. I look horrible if I don't smile. You actually look okay when you don't smile but obviously cuter when you smile. Have a great Easter weekend!

Totally agree about the smiles. And for the record, I think fashion bloggers often look silly when they have that forced "serious" look going on. Smiles are way better! And I loooove your tank top!

I agree with the smile! It completes the outfit. :)

Although I love flat patterning, draping is the way to go! I love the dress that you made! :)

smiles are contagious! also, people that smile are more likely to be positive happy people than the ones that frown more.

OMG, that dress you made is gorgeous!! I love the print and the open front. Perfect for summer. And you have an incredible smile, although I like your "serious, not-at-all-constipated" look too. :) <3

I think your smile is gooorgeous and in generally I love when people smile!
I'm one of those who smile and laugh in real life aaall the time, but when the camera comes up, my pokerface pops on. It's weird... maybe it's camera shyness or something..I don't really know :D
But anyways..keep on smiling because you look so beautiful when you do! :) <3
