Channeling Minnie

Doesn't this blouse scream Minnie Mouse!  I was tempted to pair it with red pants/shorts/skirt, but resisted.  This was another great ON find.  I also have the urge to pair it with another polka dot print.  You can never have enough polka dots, right?  Today, I started pattern making a rad little top with bold architectural design lines.  Ideally, it will have lots of structure and a great silhouette.  I'm super excited about this piece, especially because it will have an exaggerated peplum.  When it's done, I promise I'll share it.

I know this is so last season, or last year, or whatev's, but I'm thinking of getting ombre locks.  What do you think?  My hair has been dye-free for years, so I'm not sure if I'm willing to "damage" it all over again.  tee hee!

I like the combo of polka dots with a colorful pants.

I'm thinking about the ombre too.. It's the best way of changing color forgetting about the roots.

I just started "damaging" my hair for the first time since I used sun-in in 1997!

Go for the ombre. I think I might too! I don't see a lot of people rocking it in Honolulu.

Allie! OMG. I freakin' rocked the sun-in look in '97 too. LOL. I wonder if they still make that stuff?!

Well you can always "temp" ombre it, so if you change your mind, it won't be too rough going back to au natural!

(Is that a Rocco bag I spy? Gorge!)

I love the loud pants paired with feminine blouse! My sister was here wondering what to wear, I opened your post and loved it, she's doing your outfit except she's wearing pink pants! Funny thing is I channeled Minnie this week too!

The minnie mouse top! It's gorgeous and very retro, love it S! :) I love it even more that you paired with the green jeans. A very bold choice but it's a winning combo in my book ;)

I wish I could have ombre hair, I don't think I could pull it off :(

I like your hair as is. I wouldn't go with ombre. It's very trendy and too many people have done it at this point. What about highlighting a strip of your bangs? I've seen it done before on blant bangs and look really cool.

Nice bum, where you from? ;) Just kidding! I've missed you too, Sharon. You look beautiful as always.

I say no to ombre. I love your hair as it is! But if you did decide to go ahead with it, I'm sure you would pull it off!

XOXO,
