Reunited and it feels so good

I reunited with an old friend last night.  The gym.  I don't even remember the last time I stepped foot into the gym, but last night was great.  It took a while to get back into the groove of things, engaging muscles I forgot existed, and by the end of my workout, I felt amazing!  Here's to the beginning of a healthier ME!

What do you guys do to stay active?  Any favorite healthy meals?

I go to aerobics and sometimes exercise at my stationary bike, but I do not eat anything healthy :D. I eat whatever I want. Popcorn and chocolate ide for breakfast? Why not! :D. I would like to be thiner but I am not so much an achiever to stop eating what I love :).

BRIGHT LIPS!!!!! :)

Woot woot.

I love the gym, but I like being at home and doing YOGA and Pilates on the floor. I hate doing those types of stretches at the gym with old fogies and nasty creepers staring at my crotch when I stretch. It's like, DUDE, you smell, and you're old balls wrinkly, and I'm sweating and narsty, which makes you extra gross for ogling! YUCKS.

But I go to the gym about 7-8 times a month. Twice a weekend with my mother in law. It's our bonding time.

I go to an all-ladies gym (less creepers, more empowerment) and participate in weekly Centergy (yoga, pilates, tai chi) and Zumba classes, as well as work on the elliptical or treadmill two other days per week. I'm watching my calorie intake, though not obsessively, and I'm not dieting. I'm working on making better choices and actually becoming an active being.
Here's to saving up for an elliptical or treadmill for my home!

I find that cycling or running to uni instead of driving really helps, but then the problem is that in the holidays I tend to get out of shape...like now. hah.

Great outfit! The skirt is adorable and I LOVE those shoes! Gorgeous. :)
To stay fit I exercise 3-5 days a week. I usually exercise for 40 minutes straight like on the treadmill or bike. But go fast enough to get your heart racing.
Eating better is always good too. Eating more fruit, veggies, whole grains, more white meat and less red meat. More fish and skinless Chicken. Also eat less than 2000 calories a day. People actually eat more than that a day an that is where they falter and gain weight.

Really all it is just changing your eating habits and exercising more! ;)

Hahaha I thought you were going to say you reunited with an actual person. Very clever. I haven't reunited with the "gym" in a while. I should get back to it.

I'm not the greatest person to give advice about meals... but I eat yogurt and instant oatmeal for breakfast. Also, I always keep a big bowl of fruit salad in my fridge. I try to snack on that instead of unhealthy foods. If you're REALLY trying to stay healthy, then just don't buy any junk food at all. If it's not at home, you won't see it, you're not going to eat it. Good luck!

I'm as unhealthy as I can get. I eat without restraints and even eat in the wee hours when it's supposedly not healthy. Kudos for being able to meet up with your "old friend". Hope you continue with having more "dates" with Jim-- I meant GYM.

Congrats on heading to the gym! I frequently take Zumba and Cardio Dance Party classes. :)

My favorite healthy snack is eating an avocado with salt, pepper, and lime juice on it. But I'm one of those rare people that break out like crazy when they eat avocados... :(

Favorite healthy meal? Cobb Salad? hahahaha... I guess it's not as healthy as I would like it to be :p

The shoes are awesome, you have to know yourself and really carry some confidence to carry that off! I have been documenting my own Fitness Challenge, and I follow Beachbody, the company behind Turbofire and P90X programs, and not only has my body changed, but my entire mentality. Fitness and health are a way of life, a process, and I still have a ways to go, but I've learned sooo much!!

Stop by and have a look:
