We ventured to Kapalua to get some forest-y shots on Pineapple Hill, but time was not on our side. We literally had about 10 minutes and was able to capture a couple natural light shots, before the darkness crept in. These photos don't really do his creation justice. (Thank you crappy point and shot). Another added bonus he included is the exposed separating zipper, which allows me to also wear the sweater like a jacket. Thank you honey making me such a gorgeous piece. Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve.

Such a great piece--he is so talented! I know what you mean though, when I'm on Guam I stick out like a sore thumb. Everyone wears blacks and browns and just zori! I like that you're different from the rest, that's what makes you so interesting and trust me, it's hard to do at times when the crowd's busy fitting in. :)
<3 the jacket!!!!!

God I am so glad you don't like blending in with the locals. Nate's like, "you're going to have to learn how to be less high-maka (is that how you spell it?) when we move to Hawaii." I was like, what? Embrace tanks, cut offs and FLIP FLOPS if I'm not junking it? NO WAY. I plan on wearing heels, sandals and cute dresses and stuff.
It's nice to know that people like you and Allie exist so I won't feel like an Alien.
I remember, I was wearing floppy hats and sun dresses in Kauai, and people were looking at me like I was some some sort of weird creature from another planet. It was nice to get noticed, but not with some of the strange looks we got. And I was wearing flats and sometimes flip flops, too. (shh, don't tell anyone.)
That jacket is really something! It's so different. Is it too warm for there? Can you wear it often?
Xx,
Mae Lu @ thereafterish.
you and I both.. I don't like blending in either :P Your hub did a great job (as always) I gotta meet the both of you already! It's hard to find fashionable people in Hawaii :/
looking gorgeous dear!! <3
Good job hubby! I see more of the detail in the last pictures and seriously he's so talented. I'm so impressed by how awesome you both are at creating things. Plus I can only image how amazing it would be to have a significant other who considered fashion a hobby too.
Tell him to keep up the great work and make you more fun things. ;)
