Wendy Mink has been in business for about 20 years. Wendy has always operated out of NYC and has worked with Tibetan artisans from the very beginning An important thing for Wendy is the quality and workmanship behind each piece. Each piece is handmade right here in NYC or by collaborative artisans in Peru and India. We try to maintain a 'personal touch' and very much enjoy an informal relationship with our web and boutique customers.
Where does WMJ gather inspiration?
Wendy's main inspiration is from vintage jewelry, with Victorian being her first love. Travel is also important with India, Nepal & Tibet featuring in design.
What type of girl, do you envision wearing WMJ pieces?
In terms of customers we see the WMJ customer as being an individualist with an eclectic sense of style! our customers are so varied!
Any tips on accessorizing?
Wendy's motto is "If you love it then you will wear it well." Don't follow trends. Buy what you see working year after year for you!
