I Heart Lace ***Giveaway*** - CLOSED

Lace has got to be one of my favorite fabrics of all time.  It's such a feminine fabric, but you can pair it with a leather jacket or mini and instant edgy-ness.  Lace just screams romance and what girl doesn't want some romance!?

A few things from my closet...
{cami - Abercrombie & Fitch}

{bodysuit - American Apparel}

{shrug - White House/Black Market}

{3/4 sleeve bodysuit - F21}

And because I love lace so much I've decided to have a lovely giveaway for all my readers!  Thank you so much for reading my little blog.  I didn't imagine that so many of you from around the world would be interested in me!  Thanks for all your "sweet thoughts" and emails too!  I've connected with a lot of great people through this blog.

TWO lucky winners will win ONE of these headbands. (handcrafted by yours truly)

Rules are simple...  {one entry per person}
1.  Tell me your Name.
2.  An email address I can contact you at if you're the lucky winner!
3.  Leave a comment below telling me what your favorite fabric is and why?

***You don't have to be a follower of my blog, but if you want to be that would be great!
(I want my followers to follow because they want to, not because I'm hosting a giveaway. Genuine interest in my blog is greatly appreciated.)

Giveaway ends on Monday, 4/5 and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
*Open to everyone*

Happy Weekend!!

Love, S

Hi Sharon,
hope you are well :)
As I was already so lucky on your blog before, I try my luck again :) I am totally into lace, too. But haven't got such a great collection like you (I have to work on that, haha)... and well, denim, as well. I am so happy that the trend is back.
I wish you a great weekend with a lot of relaxation :)

Thanks for your awesome giveaway, you definitely need to open your own Etsy shop, you are way talented.

I'm a long-time follower!

I think my favorite fabric is cotton as well - it's so versatile and can be both crisp and formal or super-soft and comforting.

Thankyou for dropping by my blog! <3
Ohmygosh, these headbands are so adorable! Did you make the first one with lace hem tape?

I have to agree with you. Lace is my absolute favorite fabric. I'm pretty girly, myself, so it's perfect for my personality. I like to think I don't stick to just one style & lace is very versatile, like you said.

Really cute giveaway! I hope to have one soon..

xx, Melissa

My favourite material is lace too! It's romantic and girly so it's an easy way to add a feminine touch to outfits. I also love tulle. Especially layers and layers of tulle as it brings up images of ballerinas - poised, graceful and whimsical!

Hello dear, I adore your sweet blog It's always inspire me :) My name is Natale and I would love to wear one of those headbands. I love lace too :) Also, one of my favorite fabrics is tweed. Compare to lace its not feminine at all but when style it right it can look very beautiful and feminine. It's funny cuz i wear my favorite tweed dress and shorts even in the summer. Maybe its a "cold weather" fabric but i can pull it off in summer without looking so heavy and warm :)
Thank You.

Those are such pretty things... I love lace too. But my fave fabric is Japanese Tulle. I wear any fabric for my everyday clothes but it has to be Japanese Tulle for my formals. I love the soft draping of the fabric.

Love your lace pieces! I do like lace too, but very sparingly and usually like it more in interior design or on other people. It's like when I wear too much lace I feel like I look too romantic and that doesn't go well with my personality at all lol So yeah, maybe lace is not really my thing just yet :) But hey, what great neat work on those headbands!

Also, on your previous post, I liked the nude lips on you and I think you look equally good with bangs and without :)

good question! and kind of a toughie because I change my mind aaaallll the time about most things. Right now I would say honestly say if I had one all time favorite fabric, dare I say, the fabric of my life, it would be cotton. Sounds boring I know, but it is so great for all kinds of darling prints, has been around forever, if new can be sustained organically, and I just bought a lovely lovely 50s party dress in cotton (do expect a post!).

It's hard to narrow down your favorite fabric.. I love lace too, denim as equally, but above all - I would have to say jersey cotton. It's so damn forgiving! lol It's so versatile that it can be worn day or night, and everybody looks killer in it! You gotta love that!

Anyways, such a lovely blog + I love your style! xx

I love lace too, and these are cute headbands. I don't think I have ever won anything that does not require me paying for it, you know, like ebay? here's taking a chance in trying to win something because these are too adorable to pass up.

3. I love chiffon because they make any dress look sophisticated and still can be worn as an everyday casual dress. Unlike silk, it doesn't wrinkle as easily and does not need dry cleaning. Unlike cotton it doesn't need ironing. I love how chiffon flows and follows you when you move. It also has a femininity allure to it compared to other fabrics because no man would want to wear it!lol

There you go,haha. I hope I didn't try too much.

thanks for your comment! I think my favorite fabric right now is velvet (totally not spring appropriate, hopefully I'll get more into things like cotton as the warm weather approaches). I've been so drawn to velvet dresses at the thrift store lately. But I adore lace as well, in fact just yesterday I picked up the sweetest blue lace dress that seems to be from the 50s.

& I love lace, too!

I love all kinds of fabrics, but when my budget doesn't restrict me my favourite is cashmere! There is nothing like being wrapped up in a cashmere sweater (or better yet: blanket!) on a cold winter's day (though I guess you can't really relate... :P). Almost as good as being held by the boyfriend!

Favorite fabric: I would have to say Cotton (hahaha, I'm a simple girl with tight budget, so no leather or cashmere for me!) But I also have a soft spot for lace. Something about it just screams "I'M A WOMAN!" :)

Cafe Fashionista said...

Ohmigosh Sharon you are so talented! I absolutely adore these pieces - thoguh the second is my absolute favorite!

Enter me, enter me, enter me, s'il vous plait!

My favorite fabric I love the way it flows over your body in a very whisper-soft way, managing to hug your curves whilst still allowing a bit of slack. It's just gorgeous. :)

dang girl! You have so much talent. Adore these, I would be so happy if I won one of your headbands!

My favorite is lace too. When I first got engaged I was on a quest for a lace wedding dress a la Monique Lhuillier but then ended up planning a destination wedding so the lace dress got nixed. (BUT I still love lace everything!)
