Wish we could renovate

Our kitchen is so tiny.  And our dining room is non-existent.  It's literally in the kitchen.  Although I wish we had a bigger place, I'm glad that it's the size it is.  My husband knows that cleaning is a skill I lack, almost completely.  I'm an artist, a creative thinker, a carefree soul... who has time to clean or even think of cleaning!!  I like to call it organized chaos :)

We found our little dining room set (minus 1 chair) on craiglist. It's totally not our style, but it was only $40 and we needed "something to eat on" (Btw, we don't eat on there. It's mostly used for my sewing table / craft / table). What I really wish we had in our little space was a bar counter that could also double as our dining table. I think it would save a lot of space.  I was browsing some cool Counter Stools at www.allbarstools.com, which is part of CSN stores (CSN stores has over 200+ online stores! Wowee).  What a great selection.

A couple counter stools that I'm diggin are:

Maybe one day, we'll be able to renovate and re-decorate our space. :)  Anyone have any upcoming around-the-home projects or renovations!?! :)

Love, S

I think you kitchen looks fine and is not at all too small. Plus I've been watching way too much HGTV and I think there's a ton of things you can do to redecorate your space.

I love that S... organized chaos. Now if my hubby complains about anything... I will just say, "hey, that's deliberate, it's organized chaos." Hahaha! Have a great day! xoxo

Oh I really like that first stool you showed. Reminds me of something my pastor uses when he speaks on Sundays. So cute!

And organized chaos = my life.

Oh how I wish we had a larger kitchen too, but just think...the bigger the kitchen, the more you would have to clean. So in your case it's win/win to have a small kitchen. :)

Your kitchen may be tiny, Sharon, but it's so incredibly cute - just like you!

I think your current dining set is just fine, but that's just my taste. I don't like anything too modern. I can't wait to have my own place so I can fill it with cute furniture.
