Happy Bibimbap!

Sometimes I take for granted the beautiful island I live on.  "Lucky we live Hawaii!

Some shots from yesterday.  How awesome is it to be able to see the ocean whenever I want to?  Pretty great, if you ask me!

Enjoyed the morning view...

A little yummy breakfast.  Starbucks coffee brewed by the hubby and served in my "ninja" cup - it's hard plastic and re-useable.  One of my favorite cereals, Peanut Butter Captain Crunch.  A whole wheat english muffin with pb.  And a colorful 12 minute egg.  I love cutesey containers and have a cupboard full.

A yummy snack I shared with a friend at work.  Pretzels and Nutella... and you can't tell but that's Pepperidge Farm Gold Fish pretzels.  So cute.  I also like cute food.

And for dinner last night, homemade Bibimbap for Two! So yummy. But so sad because I forgot the EGG, one of the best parts!!  But I didn't forget the ROOSTER sauce.. mmm hot hot hot!  Yummas!  I also made some homemade kimchee cucumber and bought some taegu at the market.

Clockwise starting from the top: lettuce, salty delicious korean nori, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, japanese cucumber, bean sprouts, marinated bbq chicken.

All mixed up.  But still no egg. :(  I can't get over it.  But that's ok, we had left overs, so I made it the "right" way tonight!

Love, S

i try to get to the ocean around here as often as possible and i DEFINITELY took the mountains for granted in Canada.
what cute food indeed!
do peanut butter corn pops really exist?!?!
i think it's wise my hands have never been on any or a serious obsession would be underway.

I also have one of those cutesy plastic containers! There's a local store here (Heliotrope) that sells them, and I use mine nearly every day!

Luuurve bibimbap! I wonder if I could find a place in the ATL that does it for two.
