Hello, it's me again.

Whew!!  What an awesome weekend.  Did everyone enjoy their Easter weekend?  I went on a little fashion getaway. Our fashion club hopped over to Oahu for Honolulu Community College's annual fashion show.  This years show was called "Transitopia".  What an amazingly talented group of students.  I was very impressed. (sorry not photos :()  And the icing on the cake was being able to meet a few of the Project Runway season 8 designers.  Andy South (whose alma mater is HCC, and now teaches there) invited 4 of his buddies from season 8 to be guests judges at the show.  Along with Andy, I got to meet Mondo (LOVE him!), Casanova, Christopher Collins, and Michael Drummond.  They are such cool guys.  We also go to see a sneak peek of their current lines (mini fashion showcase at Ala Moana).  Our club is also fortunate enough to assist with the Project Runway Stars on Maui event tomorrow evening.  If you happen to be on the island, definitely come down to the Hyatt Regency resort in Kaanapali tomorrow evening.  Come show your love and support.

I know I've been slacking on outfit photos, but here is one of the very few photos I took (of my weekend's outfits).  I had way too much fun this weekend, that it was rare that my camera made an appearance.  I sorta regret it now.

Sneak peek

Hi guys!  I've missed you all.

Hard work definitely pays off.  All the blood, sweat, and tears (literally) that went into the production of our show was totally worth it.  Last night, was one of the most thrilling nights I've experienced.  To work with such a great and creative team was an honor.  I am proud of every single person that was involved.

My hubby and his amazing talents never cease to amaze me.  Here is a sneak peek of the pieces he and I created.  I'm blessed to share the same passion with my soulmate.  Bravo honey... congrats to the both of us.  Doors are opening, and this is just the beginning.

Pinky promise

I'm stressed out! The show is in exactly one week and all my looks are not fully completed yet. When is my sewing miracle going to happen? My lovelies, please don't leave me. I promise to get back to normal blogging.. with outfit posts and whine-free commentary once my garments are all sewn up.  I'll leave you with this picture of me trying to sport a teased messy hairdo. Epic fail.

Monochroma.chic

It feels good to vent.  I received numerous emails from bloggy friends, asking if I was okay.  And, I am.  I'm sure my last post was alarming, especially because I live in the land of rainbows and unicorns, but I assure you everything is A-ok!  And to clear things up, I didn't get slapped in the face.  :)

Anyhoo, if you've been an avid reader of my blog (awww, thanks! and welcome new readers), you know that I have a fashion show coming up.  It's for the fashion club I belong to at school.  Our theme is MONOCHROMATIC.  We all had to choose a color from the rainbow, Tim Gunn style.  Yup, that's right... out of a bag!  I got green.  I'm still trying to embrace the color. The process has definitely been a "make it work" journey.  Our show is in 11 days and a sewing miracle needs to happen this week.  We have our first model fitting on Friday.  Aggggghhh!

If you're going to be on Maui on April 16th, I'd love for you to come and check out our show.  If not, I promise to post photos.  And want to give a big shout out to my girl, Kristy.  Thanks for being an inspiration to our fashion show's name.  ♥Love ya!  :)

On the brain...

I hope one day people will see what kind of person you really are.  You hide behind "humor", but you don't fool me.  You are a malicious phony.  A slap in the face is never appropriate, no matter how playful you are trying to be.  Clearly, you need to grow up.  You probably don't read my blog, but I'm certain that my #1 lurker will let you know about this. :)
