Late Night Sushi

Nanette Lepore

I dread flying. Someone should invent a teleporter, like in the Jetsons!! That would be great. This is a pic of me + Eli on our way home from the Big Island. Sorry for such a fuzzy pic! I saw this Nanette Lepore Bow dress on Miley Cyrus a while back and fell in love with the femininity of it. To my surprise I found a VERY similar dress at Walmart. (with the exception of the hem line, my dress has a little ruffle at the hem). I scored it for only $11! Lucky me.

Sitting and Pondering

John Legend was AMAZING! I am now offically a fan. I had the greatest time with my two favorite people. I'm have some "Jo withdrawls", but I know we'll see eachother sooner than we expect. I'm sitting in my room, which is a complete mess, figuring out what to pack for our trip this weekend. Eli and I are off to the Big Island for our friend, Lauren's wedding. I get to be a lovely bridesmaid. :)

I'm going to miss Pooma tons! Good thing she'll be very well taken cared of by Aunty Leah and Uncle Kona.

My bff, Jojobean

My BFF, Jo is in town (she lives in Las Vegas). She got in this past Tuesday. I'm so glad she's here. It was definitely time for some facetime with her. I talk to her everyday and sometimes it feels like she still lives down the road from me. Even though we live 2000+ miles aways from eachother, we seem to manage visits quite a few times every eyar. Maybe one day we'll live somewhere in Greece together!! with Eli and her future hubby too, of course!! We can enjoy afternoon sunsets, sipping sangria on our patio in our hill top homes, while watching our children play together! Oh what a lovely dream that is...

We've already had such a great time together...
the night she got in, the three of us (Elisharon + Jo), went to Lulu's for cocktails and pupus. After cocktails we went back to our place and I got Jo to watch the first episode of Gossip Girl. Unlike me and my weakness for fashion, drama, and what she considers "bad acting" on Blake Lively's part, she did not get hooked. It was a great night, chillin and catching up.

Yesterday the two of us did some "shoe" shopping. I was made very aware of how much of a girl girly I am. The only person I ever shop with is Elisha. I do not have any girlfriends here that I can regulary shop with. Jo and I have VERY different styles of shopping.. ha ha!! But we had a fun time regardless.

And last night I'm played "Jo's personal tailor", and fixed a pair of shorts for her. I bet she wishes I lived a lot closer to her, she'd have me altering things for her left and right.

Tonight though, will be a night to remember. For Sure. Jo will remember it for ages! John Legend in concert at the MACC. It will be a great concert, especially because it's being held in such an intimate concert hall. We even scored box seats. I'm not a huge fan like, but I'm so excited for tonight!

10 Year Togetherness Dinner

We had a delicious time at Roy's. The food was amazing and so were the cocktails. We started with the crab cakes & shrimp + pork pot stickers. I ordered the opakapaka with a crab & lobster dynamite on top and Eli had the Kobe beef meat loaf. Both dishes were scrumptious.. and of course the creme de la creme at Roy's - the Chocolate Souffle!!! OMGosh, what decadence! And at home we celebrated with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot. Sparkly and Bubbly! :)

Shoes Shoes Shoes

Eli + I are getting ready to pop in GG season 2 and continue watching, but I needed to say how much I love these Elizabeth and James shoes!!! I probably will never be able to afford them, well let me re-phrase, will never be able to justify spending $400 + on them, but a girl can dream... and a girl can also go to Nordstrom to try them on! Spending a day trying on tons of fabulous shoes curbs the actual need of making the purchase, well sometimes.

A Decade of Love

Tomorrow will be exactly 10 years that Eli + I have been together. That may seem like such a long time to many, but the past 10 years with this wonderful man have been incredible! We've made and shared so many memories together, not only as friends, boy/girlfriends, lovers, but now as hubby + wife. :) We both work in the morning, but plan on a scrumptious dinner at Roy's Kahana (http://www.roysrestaurant.com/). Oh I can't wait for the yummy food and of course the decadent chocolate souffle!!
